Slack Wax: The Raw Material for Wax Production
Slack Wax is an essential intermediate product derived from the refining of lubricating oil base stocks. Consisting of a raw blend of oil and wax, it serves as the crucial feedstock for the production of fully refined Paraffin Wax and microcrystalline waxes. Beyond refining, Slack Wax is widely utilized in various low-cost industrial applications, including the manufacture of construction boards, certain types of candles, and specialized fire-starter logs, where its high oil content and specific melting point characteristics are beneficial.
Supplying Consistent Oil Content and Specifications
The industrial utility and cost-effectiveness of Slack Wax depend significantly on its technical specifications, primarily its oil content and melting point. Raykan Co. ensures the supply of Slack Wax with verified and consistent specifications, allowing downstream refineries to optimize their de-oiling processes and achieve predictable yields of finished wax products. We source materials that are uniform in color and viscosity, minimizing process variations for our clients worldwide.
Efficient Bulk Handling and Global Logistics
Trading in Slack Wax often involves handling large volumes that may be transported in either solid or liquid bulk, depending on temperature. Raykan Co. manages the complex logistics efficiently, supplying Slack Wax in liquid bulk via ISO tank containers or drums, or in solid form (slabs/flakes) in suitable packaging. Our global supply chain expertise ensures secure and timely delivery to refiners and industrial consumers, providing a reliable source for this foundational petroleum derivative.

Trade & Logistics FAQs
We primarily operate using secure financial instruments like Letter of Credit (LC) at sight or deferred payment LC, which provides security for both parties. We also accept TT (Telegraphic Transfer), subject to contract terms and credit approval.
Our focus is on large-scale international trade. MOQs typically begin at Full Container Load (FCL)—approx. 20 metric tons—or bulk vessel cargo, depending on the specific commodity (e.g., metals require larger volumes than some chemicals).
Quality is guaranteed through mandatory third-party inspections (such as SGS or Intertek) at the loading port. All shipments are supplied with certified Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Certificates of Origin to verify material specs.
We regularly work with FOB (Free On Board) and CFR/CIF (Cost and Freight/Insurance) terms. Leveraging our Global hub, we manage global delivery via reliable road, rail, and sea networks, tailored to your destination and product requirements.
